Antam’s activities include exploration, mining, processing, and marketing of mineral resources. PT Antam’s revenue is earned through exploration and discovery of mineral deposits, processing these minerals economically, and selling these products to loyal long-term consumers in Europe and Asia.
This activity has been carried out since the company was founded in 1968. Antam’s main commodities are high-grade nickel ore or saprolite, low-grade nickel ore or limonite, ferronickel, gold, silver, and bauxite. PT Vale was founded on July 25, 1968, which is a foreign investment mining company (PMA) under a Contract of Work which was amended on October 17, 2014, and is valid until December 28, 2025.
